Jason Schmid
Owner | Founder
Jason started in the integration industry right out of college in 1999. Jason has experienced nearly all positions in this industry, from technician, sales engineer, project manager, and sales and founded MediaObsessions in 2004. Outside of work Jason likes to mountain bike, travel, brew beer, grill and spend time with friends and family. Jason resides in Bath, Ohio with his high school sweetheart/wife Jamie, their children Wes and Mara, and their Silver Lab Luna.
Jamie Schmid
Business Operations
Jamie has a degree in Fashion Merchandising and uses her business experience from years in corporate settings to help the day to day operations at MediaObsessions run smoothly. During her down time she enjoys traveling, interior decorating, checking out local events, and spending time with friends and family. Jamie resides in Bath, Ohio with her high school sweetheart/husband Jason, their children Wes and Mara, and their Silver Lab Luna.
Kevin Kramer
Director of Operations
Kevin began his low voltage career in 1998, Kevin has experience in numerous facets of the business. Kevin started as a technician and progressed to a site foreman, field supervisor, a purchasing agent/warehouse manager, and a service writer before taking on his current position at MediaObsessions. He strives to provide MediaObsessions’ customers with the best customer experience and installation. You’ll find Kevin on a local mountain bike trail, at a car show or spending time with his family in his free time. He has been an avid sneaker collector since the mid-’90s. Kevin resides in Stow, Ohio with his wife and adoptive daughter.
Jason Spence
Senior Engineer
Jason has been in the integration industry since 1999. His fondness for this field was fueled by his love of music – listening, writing, performing and recording. Jason has filled nearly every position since starting out in this business, from technician, programmer, engineer, project manager, manager and sales person. However, his passion lies in engineering as it is an opportunity to be creative. When not working on the next big project, Jason enjoys woodworking, playing guitar, grilling, cooking, camping and hiking. Jason lives in Norton, Ohio with his wife Melanie, daughter Julia and their German Shepard Maya.
Luna Schmid
Chief Barking Officer
Luna is a rambunctious Silver Lab that enjoys her toys, treats, stealing socks, and playing with her humans. During the winter months you can usually find her belly up on her bed taking a nap and in the summer months she enjoys playing fetch and doing belly flops into the pool.
